Notification emails for Learning Pathways get triggered for the following scenarios:
- Enrolment requested (learner confirmation) - When a Learning Pathway is set to manager enrolment the learner must request enrolment by their manager before they can access it. Whenever a learner requests enrolment, they are sent a confirmation email.
- Enrolment requested (manager confirmation) - When a Learning Pathway is set to manager enrolment the learner must request enrolment by their manager before they can access it. Whenever a learner requests enrolment, their manager is notified that the learner wishes to enrol on the Learning Pathway.
- Enrolled (to learner) - Whenever a learner is enrolled on a Learning Pathway they are emailed to notify them of the enrolment. If the learner has a manager in the system then their manager is also emailed.
- Enrolled by manager (to learner's Manager) - If a manager enrols a team member on a Learning Pathway, the manager is notified.
- Manager Approval requested (to learner) - When a Learning Pathway is set to manager approval the learner must submit it to their manager for review. Whenever a learner submits their Learning Pathway for approval, they are sent a confirmation email.
- Manager Approval requested (to learner's manager) - When a Learning Pathway is set to manager approval the learner must submit it to their manager for review. When submitted, the manager is notified.
- Manager Approved (to learner) - When the manager approves the Learning Pathway the learner is notified.
- Manager Approved (to the learner's manager) - When the manager approves the Learning Pathway they are sent a confirmation notification.
- Reopen requested by the learner (to learner's manager) - When a completed Learning Pathway is set to manager enrolment the learner cannot reopen the LP themselves. The manager must reopen it for them. Whenever a learner requests reopening, their manager is sent a request notification.
- Reopen by learner (to learner) - Whenever a Learning Pathway is reopened by the learner, they are emailed.
- Reopened by the learner (to learner's manager) - Whenever a Learning Pathway is reopened the learner's manager is emailed to notify them. The email notification contains information explaining how the Learning Pathway was reopened.
- Reopened at submission by the manager (to learner) - Whenever a Learning Pathway is reopened by a manager the learner is emailed to notify them. A manager can reopen the Pathway at the point of submission, or after they have approved it.
- Reopened by the manager after being previously approved (to learner) - Whenever a Learning Pathway is reopened by a manager the learner is emailed to notify them. A manager can reopen the Pathway at the point of submission, or after they have approved it.
Note: If a learner is enrolled by the following methods an email will not be sent:
- Administrator enrols learner
- A learning pathway is set to automatic enrolment
